Hi! My name is Kristin and I grew up in Austin, Texas. I started cutting hair at age 9 and coloring when I was 14. My passion for hair has flourished into my career behind the chair, and I love it!

At 20 years old I rushed to earn my cosmetology license and began working in one of Austin’s most renowned salons. I found inspiration around every corner from some of the best colorists and haircutters in the field. In 2004 the Aveda Institute recognized me for connecting color, cut, and makeup.

After venturing out on my own, I have consistently kept up with continuing education and current trends. I am a trendsetter and a tastemaker. I believe in constant growth and pushing myself so that I will not only inspire others but also continue to fuel my own fire from within. I’ve studied in New York City as a Bumble & Bumble network educator and I have done work for fashion shows. My work has been featured in photo shoots and in a Spike Jonze + Arcade Fire music video.

My true passion IS the hair industry! I will look at your face shape, eyes, and lifestyle in order to accent your hair accordingly. I will tell you what works, what doesn’t, and I believe in the concept of effortlessly looking beautiful. Your hair is my canvas and I love to create. All colors and cuts are all custom done so no one client looks the same. I design all of my shapes so that the grow out is as amazing as the first day.

I specialize in color, highlights and cuts. I am formally trained in Balayage, Hot Heads and Perfectress Hair Extensions, Goldwell’s Kerasilk Smoothing Treatment and Arrojo’s American Wave Retexturizing Service.
